Discografia Sex Pistols

Los Sex Pistols son una banda de punk rock ingles, formada en Londres en 1975. La banda originalmente estaba compuesta por el vocalista Johnny Rotten, el guitarrista Steve Jones, Paul Cook en

bateria y Glen Matlock en el bajo (más tarde sustituido por Sid Vicious). A pesar de que su carrera duró sólo tres años y produjo sólo cuatro singles y un álbum de estudio, los Sex Pistols han sido descritos por la BBC como "La banda de punk rock definitiva de inglaterra ". La banda creo diversas controversias durante su breve carrera lo que cautivó a Gran Bretaña, y tambien eclipso su música. Sus espectáculos y giras en varias ocasiones enfrentaban serias dificultades con las autoridades, y sus apariciones públicas a menudo terminaban en disturbios y desastres. Su single de 1977, "Dios salve a la Reina", fue ampliamente considerado como un ataque a la monarquía británica y el nacionalismo británico. Lydon / Rotten dejó la banda en 1978, en medio de una turbulenta gira por los Estados Unidos; el restante trío llevado por el resto del año siempre con voz de Jones, Edward Tudor-Pole y Ronnie Biggs, pero se disolvió a principios de 1979.
